About the Presenters: 

Zoë Johnson is the Community Planning Liaison Officer with Naval Support Activity Annapolis. She is a member of the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Sea Level Advisory Council. Johnson oversaw the development of the NSA Annapolis/USNA Military Installation Resilience Plan, 2022. Zoë has previously held the role of Climate Change Coordinator for NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office and EPA Chesapeake Bay Program Partnership.

Tori Tomiczek (Johnson) is an Associate Professor, in the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Department at USNA. Tori's research focuses on coastal engineering and coastal resilience. Tori has participated in field reconnaissance surveys evaluating damage and recovery following hurricane and extreme storm events.
