VIRTUAL- Chanteys: Sailing Work Songs of the Seas

•    Enjoy an overview of the lyrical content of chanteys in archival and published collections.

About the Presenter: 

Dr. Jessica Floyd, am Associate Professor, Department of English, Community College of Baltimore County has her PhD in Language, Literacy, and Culture program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is a research specialist in chantey narratives. Dr. Floyd is a published author on the chantey tradition.
